The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has always been a dominant player in the luxury market.
With the redesign of the flagship Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Mercedes decided to bring many of the design and luxury elements from the S-Class towards to redesign of the E-Class. This brought in a far superior mid-market luxury vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz has now recently unveiled the Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 and a high-spec E63S.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG E63S consists of a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 with 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque with a nine-speed AMG Speedshift multi-clutch transmission.
The E63S can go 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, beating its close 640-hp rival the Cadillac CTS-V by 0.4 seconds.
The excitement around the E63S 4Matic All-Wheel-Drive system is the new Drift Mode.
Drivers will be able to select a Race drive program, turn off their stability controls and activate the transmission manually.
Mercedes-Benz will start production with the E63S Edition 1, featuring a Designo Night Black Magno with matte-black exterior, AMG 20-inch wheels and a gloss-black Night Package.
The interior will feature black nappa leather with yellow stitching and AMG performance seats. Carbon fiber trim with “Edition 1” lettering will be placed in the performance steering wheel.
